Minor ridge

A relatively weak and localized extension of high atmospheric pressure, characterized by a slight bulge in isobars or geopotential height contours. Unlike major ridges, it does not typically dominate the synoptic pattern for extended periods or over large areas. It can bring temporary periods of fair weather and lighter winds.
