Mudflow

A rapid flow of water-saturated soil and rock debris down a slope, often triggered by heavy rainfall or rapid snowmelt. These viscous flows can travel at high speeds and are highly destructive, capable of carrying large boulders and trees. Mudflows are a type of mass wasting event, common in mountainous and volcanic regions.
