Munsell color chart
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007465
A standardized system for precisely describing and identifying colors based on three perceptual dimensions: hue, value (lightness), and chroma (saturation). It provides a systematic arrangement of color samples, allowing for consistent color communication and comparison. In meteorology, it can be used for classifying and communicating the color of atmospheric phenomena, such as haze or smoke plumes.
