Orbital elements
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007725
A set of six parameters that uniquely define the path and position of an object in orbit around another body, such as a satellite around Earth. These elements include the semi-major axis, eccentricity, inclination, longitude of the ascending node, argument of periapsis, and true anomaly. They are used to predict the future location of weather satellites.
