Oroshi

A strong, cold, and dry katabatic wind that descends from mountainous terrain, particularly in Japan. This wind is similar to a foehn wind but is typically associated with cold air drainage from high plateaus or mountain passes. Oroshi winds can cause rapid temperature drops and increase fire danger in affected valleys.
