Pm-10
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007990
Particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 10 micrometers or less, small enough to be inhaled into the lungs. These particles originate from both natural sources, like windblown dust and pollen, and anthropogenic sources, including industrial processes and vehicle exhaust. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sets the 24-hour air quality standard for PM-10 at 150 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m³).
