Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008168

A statistical measure that describes the relationship between two random variables, often referring to the product-moment correlation coefficient. This coefficient quantifies the linear association between two variables, ranging from -1 (perfect negative correlation) to +1 (perfect positive correlation). It is widely used in meteorology to assess the relationship between different weather parameters.
