Radiant density

The amount of radiant energy contained within a given volume of space at a specific instant. It is a measure of the concentration of electromagnetic radiation, such as sunlight, within the atmosphere or any other medium. Radiant density is expressed as energy per unit volume, with SI units of joules per cubic meter (J/m³).
