Radiative flux density

The rate at which radiant energy passes through a unit area perpendicular to the direction of propagation. It quantifies the flow of electromagnetic radiation, such as sunlight or infrared radiation, through a specific surface. This quantity is typically measured in watts per square meter (W/m²).
