Heat flux
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006194
The rate of thermal energy transfer per unit area, typically measured in watts per square meter. In meteorology, it describes the movement of heat through the atmosphere, oceans, or land surface via conduction, convection, or radiation.
