Sky luminance
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008921
The photometric measure of the luminous intensity emitted or reflected by the sky in a given direction, per unit projected area. It quantifies the brightness of the sky as perceived by the human eye, influenced by solar radiation, cloud cover, and atmospheric scattering.
