Lambert

A CGS unit of luminance, representing the brightness of a surface. One lambert is defined as one lumen per square centimeter per steradian. While not an SI unit, it is sometimes encountered in older meteorological or photometric contexts when discussing the brightness of clouds or atmospheric phenomena.
