Subtropical climate

A climate zone located between the tropical and temperate zones, generally between 20 and 35 degrees latitude in both hemispheres. These regions experience hot to warm summers and mild, cool winters with infrequent frost. Subtropical climates are divided into humid variants with year-round or summer-dominant rainfall, and dry-summer (Mediterranean) variants with concentrated winter precipitation.
