Taiga climate

A subarctic climate characterized by long, cold winters and short, cool summers, supporting the growth of coniferous forests. This climate zone experiences a large annual temperature range and relatively low precipitation, much of which falls as snow. It is found across vast regions of North America and Eurasia, typically between 50 and 70 degrees latitude.
