Continental climate

A climate type characterized by large annual and diurnal temperature ranges, with relatively low precipitation, especially in winter. It occurs in regions far from oceanic influences, experiencing hot summers and cold winters. This climate is prevalent in the interior of large continents, such as North America and Eurasia.
