Thermal core
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009578
The warmest region within a meteorological system, such as a tropical cyclone or a warm-core low-pressure system. This area of elevated temperature is typically found at the center of the system and is associated with latent heat release from condensation.
