Torrid zone

The geographical region of the Earth located between the Tropic of Cancer (23.5 degrees North latitude) and the Tropic of Capricorn (23.5 degrees South latitude). This zone is characterized by consistently high temperatures and receives the most direct sunlight throughout the year. It encompasses the equatorial and tropical regions of the planet.
