Tropical air

A large, relatively uniform body of air that originates over low-latitude regions, specifically within the subtropical high-pressure belts. This air mass is characterized by warm to hot temperatures throughout the year. Depending on its source region over land or sea, it is further classified as either dry tropical continental (cT) or moist tropical maritime (mT).
