Polar air

A type of cold, dry air mass that originates over high-latitude regions, typically between 50 and 70 degrees latitude. This air is characterized by low temperatures, low humidity, and good visibility. It forms over continents or oceans in winter and can bring cold snaps to mid-latitude areas.
