Valais wind

A local wind system occurring in the Valais region of Switzerland, characterized by a diurnal cycle. During the day, it typically blows up-valley as a warm, anabatic wind, while at night it reverses to a cooler, katabatic flow down-valley. This wind is influenced by the topography of the deep Alpine valley and differential heating.
