Wake low

A mesoscale low-pressure area that forms in the wake of a squall line or other convective system. It is typically characterized by a sharp pressure drop and strong, gusty winds. Wake lows can contribute to the development of damaging winds and can sometimes be associated with the generation of new convective cells.
