Wet day

A calendar day during which a measurable amount of precipitation is recorded at a specific location. The threshold for what constitutes a measurable amount varies by national meteorological service but is often defined as 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, or 0.01 inches. This metric is used in climatological summaries to quantify the frequency of precipitation events and analyze trends in a region's climate.
