Wien's distribution law
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010237
A physical law that describes the spectral radiance of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a black body as a function of wavelength and temperature. It is an approximation of Planck's law for shorter wavelengths or higher frequencies. This law was an early attempt to describe black-body radiation before the development of quantum mechanics.
