Autotrack
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000220
To automatically follow and pick a seismic horizon or feature across a seismic volume using computer algorithms. This process relies on the continuity of seismic events, such as reflections, and is guided by parameters like amplitude, phase, and dip. Autotracking significantly speeds up the interpretation of large seismic datasets.
