Bridge plug

A downhole tool set in a wellbore to isolate a lower section of the well from an upper section. It creates a temporary or permanent seal, allowing operations like cementing, fracturing, or testing to be performed above the plug. Bridge plugs are available in retrievable and permanent designs, set mechanically or hydraulically.
