Calcium carbonate plug

A temporary barrier formed by injecting a slurry of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) into a wellbore to isolate a zone or control fluid loss. This plug is acid-soluble, allowing for its removal with hydrochloric acid after its purpose is served. It is commonly used during workover operations or to protect producing formations.
