Bullhead

To pump fluids down a wellbore against formation pressure, forcing them into the reservoir or a specific zone. This technique is often used to kill a well by injecting heavy drilling mud or to squeeze cement into perforations. Bullheading can also be employed to displace unwanted fluids or to control a kick.
