Kill line
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002097
A high-pressure pipeline connecting the mud pumps to the wellbore below the blowout preventers (BOPs). This line is used to pump heavy drilling fluid into the well to control a kick or to circulate out formation fluids.
