Cement head

A specialized piece of surface equipment connected to the top of the casing string during cementing operations. It provides a means to introduce cement slurry into the casing and launch cementing plugs. The cement head typically includes multiple inlets for different fluids and a mechanism to release the plugs at the appropriate time.
