Darcy units
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000949
A system of units commonly used in reservoir engineering for permeability, flow rate, and pressure gradient, derived from Darcy's Law. In this system, permeability is expressed in Darcys, flow rate in cubic centimeters per second, and pressure gradient in atmospheres per centimeter. While practical for reservoir calculations, these units are not part of the International System of Units (SI).
