Drip

A low point in a natural gas pipeline where condensed liquids, such as water or natural gas liquids, accumulate. These liquids are periodically removed to prevent slug flow, corrosion, and flow restrictions within the pipeline. Drips are typically equipped with a valve for draining the accumulated fluids.
