Velocity string

A small-diameter tubing string installed inside the existing production tubing of a gas well. Its purpose is to increase the gas velocity, which in turn lifts accumulated liquids out of the wellbore. This prevents liquid loading and sustains gas production, particularly in mature wells with declining reservoir pressure.
