Intermittent gas lift
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002011
A method of artificial lift where gas is injected into the tubing string at intervals, rather than continuously, to displace slugs of liquid to the surface. This technique is typically used in wells with low productivity or high gas-liquid ratios. The periodic injection of gas creates a pressure differential that lifts the accumulated fluid.
