Continuous gas lift
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000831
An artificial lift method where gas is continuously injected into the production tubing at a specific depth to lighten the fluid column and reduce hydrostatic pressure. This reduction in pressure allows reservoir fluids to flow more easily to the surface, increasing production rates. The injected gas typically comes from a high-pressure source and is controlled by gas lift valves.
