Rotational gas lift
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003201
A method for allocating a limited supply of lift gas among a group of wells to sustain production from a field. Instead of continuous injection into all wells, the available gas is cycled, or rotated, among the wells in a predetermined sequence and for specific durations. This technique is applied when the total gas volume available is insufficient to lift all wells simultaneously at their ideal rates.
