Vent plug

A small, removable plug or cap designed to relieve pressure or allow for the escape of gases from a sealed system or container. In oil and gas operations, vent plugs are found on equipment such as gearboxes, hydraulic reservoirs, or battery casings to prevent pressure buildup. They often incorporate a filter to prevent contaminants from entering the system.
