Venturi valve
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004027
A type of valve designed with a constricted throat, similar to a Venturi tube, which accelerates fluid flow and recovers pressure downstream. This design minimizes pressure drop across the valve when fully open, reducing energy consumption. Venturi valves are often used in applications where high flow capacity and low pressure loss are desired.
