Dummy valve

A blank or non-functional valve installed in a side pocket mandrel within a gas lift string, used to temporarily block flow or to hold a specific position until an active gas lift valve is installed. It serves as a placeholder or a means to isolate a port. Dummy valves are typically retrieved and replaced with active valves when gas lift operations commence.
