FLNG

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001456

A floating liquefied natural gas facility, which is a marine vessel used for the production, liquefaction, storage, and offloading of natural gas at sea. This technology enables the development of offshore gas fields that are too remote or too small to justify a pipeline to shore. FLNG vessels can process gas from subsea wells and transfer the liquefied natural gas directly to carriers for export.
