Liquefied natural gas

Natural gas that has been cooled to approximately -162 degrees Celsius (-260 degrees Fahrenheit) at atmospheric pressure, converting it into a liquid state. This process significantly reduces its volume, making it economical to transport over long distances by ship. LNG is primarily methane and is regasified before distribution.
