A well drilled and completed on the seabed, with its wellhead and production equipment located on the ocean floor rather than on a surface platform. Production from these wells is typically routed through flowlines to a nearby platform or a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. These wells are common in deepwater developments.
