Drilling riser

A large-diameter pipe that connects a subsea blowout preventer (BOP) stack on the seabed to a floating drilling rig at the surface. It provides a conduit for drilling fluids to return to the rig and allows for the passage of drill pipe and tools. The riser maintains wellbore integrity and contains well fluids during offshore drilling operations.
