Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002280
A large-diameter pipe that connects the subsea blowout preventer (BOP) stack on the seabed to the drilling vessel at the surface. It provides a conduit for the drill string, drilling fluids, and electrical and hydraulic lines, creating a sealed return path for drilling mud.
