Bell nipple

A large-diameter pipe that connects the top of the blowout preventer (BOP) stack to the flow line, directing drilling fluids and cuttings away from the wellbore. It provides a wide opening for the return of drilling mud and allows for easy inspection of the flow. This component is typically installed after the BOP stack is flanged to the wellhead.
