Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004348
A set of programmable rules, constraints, and filters designed to control the behavior and output of an artificial intelligence model. These safety measures prevent the model from generating harmful, biased, off-topic, or factually incorrect content. In an oil and gas application, guardrails might restrict an AI from giving operational advice that violates established safety procedures or from sharing sensitive commercial information outside of authorized queries.
