Make hole

To deepen a wellbore by drilling new rock at the bottom of the hole. This process involves rotating the drill bit and circulating drilling fluid to remove cuttings. The rate of making hole is measured in feet per hour or meters per hour and is a key performance indicator for drilling operations.
