Meter capacity

The maximum and minimum flow rates that a particular meter can accurately measure without damage or loss of precision. Operating a meter outside its specified capacity range can lead to inaccurate readings or mechanical failure. Manufacturers provide a turndown ratio, indicating the range of flow rates over which the meter performs within its stated accuracy.
