Meter difference

The discrepancy between the volume of fluid measured by a primary meter and a secondary or check meter, or between a meter reading and a tank gauge. This difference indicates potential inaccuracies in one or both measurement devices. A meter difference exceeding a specified tolerance level often triggers an investigation or recalibration.
