Petrophysical model
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002764
A mathematical relationship or set of equations that describe how reservoir rock and fluid properties are derived from well log measurements. This model translates raw log data into quantitative estimates of porosity, water saturation, and permeability. It is calibrated using core data and forms the basis for reservoir volume calculations and flow simulations.
