Remotely operated vehicle

An unmanned, tethered underwater robot controlled by an operator from a surface vessel. ROVs are equipped with cameras, manipulators, and sensors for inspection, maintenance, and intervention tasks on subsea infrastructure. They are commonly used for pipeline surveys, wellhead operations, and recovery of lost equipment in deepwater environments.
